Rospotrebnadzor has compiled a black list of large trading establishments in which various violations have been identified during inspections conducted since 2013. Such stores have every chance of getting into the inspection plan for next year. This was announced by the head of the Moscow department of Rospotrebnadzor Elena Andreeva in an interview with the network publication m24.ru.

For the whole of 2014, Rospotrebnadzor wrote out 4 million rubles in fines and suspended 118 activities in court. And this year, Moscow retail chains that violate consumer rights have paid fines of 293 million rubles and 120 objects have suspended their activity. Such a sharp increase in fines is due to the fact that Rospotrebnadzor can now drop by with a check suddenly, without notifying entrepreneurs.

Here's what it looks like a dozen offending retail chains, according to the agency. The top 10 was compiled based on the results of inspections conducted in connection with the appeals of residents and public companies.

10. “Attacks”

This chain of stores belongs to the French group Auchan. It offers consumers Auchan brand products, private label products, as well as its own Every Day brand.

9. The Magnolia

The network includes 150 “convenience stores” grocery stores, each store has its own butcher's shop, which offers semi-finished meat products, meatballs and sausages.

8. Victoria

As of December 2014, the Victoria chain of food stores included 94 stores. Their advantages for customers: the presence of a discount card, a rich assortment, fresh pastries. There are also negative reviews about Victoria regarding: high prices, different prices (indicated in the booklet and on the price tag in the store), the presence of spoiled and expired products.

7. The Magnet

Most of the stores in this company are in walking distance format. In 2015, Forbes magazine included the Magnet retailer in the top 100 most innovative companies in the world.

6. "The Seventh Continent"

One of the largest participants in the Russian retail market, with 156 stores in different regions of Russia. In 2011, the "Seventh Continent" was already in the field of view of Rospotrebnadzor, then the department checked 85 stores in 10 administrative districts of the capital. In all retail outlets, violations of the law in the field of consumer protection and sanitary and epidemiological requirements were found.

5. "Bill"

Belongs to the German REWE Zentrale. We love customers for a huge assortment of goods, including confectionery products, household chemicals and beauty products, regular promotions. Negative customer reviews are associated with the presence of rotten products, mismatch of prices on the price tag and scales, mismatch of the indicated and real mass of products.

4. Auchan

The grocery hypermarket chain is periodically criticized for violating consumer rights. In August 2015, Rospotrebnadzor published the results of a study of samples of meat products taken at Auchan stores in the Moscow and Tula regions. Listeria was found in some samples from the Moscow region and the content of E. coli was increased.

3. “Crossroads”

As of September 30, 2014, the Perekrestok trading network included 389 supermarkets in 8 regions of the Russian Federation. In 2009, Vladimir Putin (then the Prime Minister) came to one of the chain’s stores and, following a visit, expressed the opinion that the mark-up on goods at Pyaterochka was too high.

2. Dixie

The second place in the top 10 violating retailers went to Dixy. She was the first in Russia to receive the exclusive right to sell products of a number of international brands, such as Unilever, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Henkel, etc. In 2012, she launched her own brand “D”, and in 2014 the retail chain opened its 2000 store.

1. "Pyaterochka"

Pyaterochka chain unites 5400 stores throughout Russia and in 2010 was recognized as the No. 1 brand based on the results of the Annual National Trust Award. So in the anti-rating of retail chains in 2015 Pyaterochka won the first place, although it is not prestigious to brag to consumers.
