Unlike the older version, the model without the Pro console has a smaller battery capacity, a slightly smaller screen size, and its flash memory is not 256 GB, but 128 GB. At the same time, the price is much lower, but the chipset for both versions is the same.

One of the most powerful smartphones of 2020, in addition to excellent filling, has another interesting feature.
He said goodbye to Google Play, instead, users will be offered a branded store Huawei AppGallery. Perhaps not all users will like it, but AppGallery is developing rapidly, and soon all the popular applications for the smartphone should appear in it.
The high-end HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G processor is paired with the video processor Mali-G76 MP16 and 8 GB of RAM. Whatever you are going to launch on the Huawei P40 Pro, the smartphone can handle this.
pros: moisture protection according to the IP68 standard, you can make contactless payments, there is wireless charging.
Minuses: No audio jack for headphones.
6. Honor 30 Pro

The heart of this smartphone, which scored 421,840 points in the Master Lu test, is the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G. This is Huawei's latest mobile processor, providing full access to 5G connectivity.
It is also known about the novelty that its capacious battery has a function of fast charging with a power of 40 watts, and a fingerprint scanner is integrated into the OLED-screen like “waterfall”. The amount of RAM it has is 8 GB, but the amount of flash memory varies from 128 to 256 GB.
And now the cherry on the cake (or fly in the ointment - who will appreciate how). This smartphone does not work with Google services. He has his own app store from Huawei.
pros: you can make contactless payments, there is a liquid cooling system.
Minuses: no waterproofing, no wireless charging like the Honor 30 Pro +, no 3.5 mm audio jack.

- Memory: 256 GB, nano memory card slot
- Hardware: 8 cores, 2.86 GHz, 8 GB RAM
- Battery: 4000 mAh
Honor 30 Pro + is the only smartphone in the top five in terms of speed, which is built on a different platform than the rest. It runs on the Kirin 990 5G chipset, and its graphics accelerator is Mali-G76 MP16. The memory speed (from 8 GB of RAM) is impressive - 29 000 Mb / s, and the built-in speed (from 256 GB) - 1000/380 Mb / s.
To a powerful processor does not heat up, a liquid cooling system is built into the smartphone.
The capabilities of the main camera are impressive - it supports three zoom modes (optical, hybrid and digital), the latter being able to bring the subject closer to 50 times! Allegedly, all this wealth will accompany the optical stabilization system.
The device is able to live on a full battery for about a day or two, and if you play constantly, it takes 7 hours.
pros: large memory, high memory speed, powerful processor, cameras, wireless charging.
Minuses: No built-in Google services.
4. One Plus 8
- Screen: 6.55 ″
- Resolution: 2400x1080 (20: 9), 402 ppi

- Processor: 8 cores (a), 2.84 GHz
- Camera: 3 modules
- Video: fullHD 60 fps, ultraHD 4K, stabilization
- Battery capacity: 4300 mAh
When creating One Plus 8 and One Plus 8 Pro, the company's engineers did not take a revolutionary, but an evolutionary path. Both models are a kind of upgraded version of the products of the previous generation.
Unlike the Pro version, One Plus 8 received neither wireless charging nor waterproofing. But I got a very good display with a diagonal of 6.55 inches, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The cameras of the “simple” One Plus 8 are also slightly worse than the cameras of the “Pro” - only three sensors. Moreover, for some reason, the developers decided to remove the telephoto lens present in the previous seventh version.
Interestingly, all models, which took from 4 to 1 places in the selection of the most powerful smartphones of 2020, have a common feature - this is the Snapdragon 865 and the Adreno 650 graphics processor with a liquid cooling system.
pros: screen, design, sound.
Minuses: no telephoto lens, no official support in Russia, no protection against moisture.
3. OnePlus 8 Pro
- Screen: 6.78 ", 3168 × 1440
- Camera: 3 modules, fullHD 60 fps, 4K video, stabilization
- Memory: 256 GB, microSD card slot
- RAM: 12 GB
- Battery: 4510 mAh
Unlike the previous version, OnePlus 8 Pro got at its disposal wireless charging with pretty good power of 30 W and a battery of 4510 mAh. And also full protection against water according to the IP68 standard. And it's time, considering that the OnePlus 8 Pro is the most expensive smartphone among the top five according to the version of the benchmark Master Lu. It would be very offensive if the thousand-dollar device would become unusable after immersion in the aquatic environment.
In addition, One Plus 8 Pro received a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and as many as three microphones with the audio zoom option. And to convert video from 24 frames per second to 120 frames per second, the smartphone has its own separate processor.
pros: screen, resolution, camera, sound.
Minuses: price, lack of official support in Russia.
2.iQOO Neo3
- Screen: 6.57 ", 2408x1080 (20: 9)
- Camera: 3 modules, 4K video
- Memory: 128 GB, microSD card slot
- Hardware: 8 cores, 2.84 GHz, 6 GB RAM
- Battery: 4500 mAh
This is one of the few smartphones that is positioned as a gaming one. In addition, it is also relatively inexpensive - at least among the top five smartphones in terms of speed. You actually get a flagship-level smartphone at a very attractive price of a solid mid-range gadget.
Like previous models, iQOO Neo3 is made on the basis of the latest and very fast eight-core Snapdragon 856 processor with a frequency of 2.84 GHz. And its gaming purpose clearly speaks of a screen refresh rate of –144 Hz. Just like a desktop monitor.
The second feature that the company's engineers paid great attention to is the cooling of the smartphone. The 11th generation Carbon Fiber VC Liquid Cooling system is responsible for it. According to the manufacturer, their smartphone heats up 10-12 ° less than comparable power counterparts.
And to play it was possible not just fast, but also for a long time, the smartphone is equipped with a 4400 mAh battery with a fast charging system of 55 watts. From zero to 100%, it charges in just an hour.
The camera paid the least attention, but the result still turned out to be quite good. There are two, one triple - with a resolution of 48 MP (base), 8 MP (circular lens) and 2 MP (for macro photography). And the second, frontal, with a resolution of 16 MP.
pros: high-speed, powerful, heats up a little.
Minuses: deliveries to Russia are not planned yet; slow fingerprint scanner.
1. Oppo Ace2
- Screen: 6.55 ", 2400x1080 (20: 9)
- Camera: 4 modules, fullHD 60 fps, 4K video
- Memory: 128 GB, microSD card slot
- Hardware: 8 cores, 2.84 GHz, 8 GB RAM
- Battery: 4000 mAh
Surprisingly, the first place among the fastest and most powerful smartphones based on Android was not at all a model from the titans of the industry. Long leading in this area, Huawei and Xiaomi pushed aside another Chinese company - Oppo. It appeared on the Russian market quite recently, in 2017, but thanks to an abundance of interesting technical solutions it quickly became popular.
It is not surprising that the expected new product from Oppo, Ace2, aroused great interest. The Chinese skillfully warmed up expectations, promising not only the top-level Snapdragon 865 processor along with the Adreno 650 graphics, support for the fifth generation of networks, a stunning number of FPS in games, but also a 6.5-inch display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a sampling rate of 180 Hz.
And, as it turned out, they were not deceived - the smartphone presented on April 13, 2020 not only met, but also exceeded all expectations.
In addition to the powerful processor, this unit also has a powerful 4000 mAh battery. And charging is made not only fast (65 W power), but also wireless (40 W)! And so that the handheld computer (the language doesn’t dare to call this a miracle of smartphone manufacturing simply a “mobile phone”) does not overheat, Chinese craftsmen put a 4D cooling system into it.
pros: speed, power, large screen with a solid refresh rate.
Minuses: will not be released in Russia soon.
